As with any electronic equipment, the lifespan of certain components cannot be guaranteed with certainty. In addition, despite the precautions taken during packaging, vibrations during transport may sometimes affect certain parts.

All products are final sales. This means that no refunds or exchanges are possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Prices are subject to change without notice, and quantities may be limited.
Refurbished equipment
Our refurbished products are offered tax-free.
GST and QST do not apply, as OPEQ (Ordinateurs pour les écoles du Québec) is a charitable organization recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Delivery
Delivery in Quebec only. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Delivery charges are taxable and will be added to your order. They vary depending on the delivery method, weight, volumetric weight, and delivery destination.
Delivery times may vary depending on the quantity of material ordered, our team’s workload, and unforeseen circumstances that may sometimes arise with carriers.
For more remote areas, delivery times may be slightly longer and additional fees may apply.
Pickup at our workshop
You can also choose to pick up your order directly from our workshop.
The team in charge will contact you as soon as your order is ready for pickup.
Warranty Policy
Upon receiving the order, if the customer notices that any equipment is missing or has been damaged during transport, they must submit a claim within fifteen (15) days following the date of receipt and possession of the equipment. After this period, OPEQ considers the shipment to be compliant, and no claim can be accepted.
Repair and Replacement Policy
During the warranty period, the workshop will choose either to repair or replace the defective product. The warranty is honoured in the workshop only.
OPEQ offers a warranty for all types of equipment sold. The warranty period applicable to each type of equipment is specified in the product’s technical sheet, on our website and on the invoice. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.
Please note that refunds are not offered under this policy.
Warranty Coverage and Exclusions
The warranty covers all material defects or failures occurring under normal conditions of use, provided that the device shows no physical damage or damage related to an identifiable liquid spill. The warranty is limited to operational and functional defects encountered during normal use of the device.
It does not apply in the following situations:
- The device shows physical damage, signs of impact, or damage caused by a fall;
- The device shows damage caused by a liquid spill;
- The device has been opened or modified by an unauthorized third party for repair or diagnostics;
- Damage results from a power surge or electrical irregularity linked to improper use;
- Damage is cosmetic and results from normal wear and tear.
The warranty does not cover software. Issues caused by malware or unwanted files are expressly excluded.
Return Procedure
Before returning any equipment, the customer must:
- Contact OPEQ by phone or email to report the issue and obtain shipping instructions.
- Perform a complete data backup: OPEQ cannot be held responsible for any data loss resulting from a repair or exchange.
- Properly package the equipment: All returned items must be protected with suitable packaging. If damage occurs during return shipping due to inadequate packaging, OPEQ reserves the right to refuse warranty service or require payment for full replacement of the equipment. The customer will be informed before any decision is made.
Shipping Fees
In the case of a defect covered by the warranty, shipping fees are handled as follows:
- The customer covers the shipping fees to return the equipment to the workshop;
- The workshop covers the shipping fees to return the repaired or replaced equipment to the customer.
Any equipment returned for repair and deemed functional after inspection will be returned to the customer at their own expense. OPEQ will inform the customer of the estimated amount before any charges are applied.
