“On behalf of the board of directors of the Association des personnes avec une déficience de l’audition, I thank you for your support in the Ordinateurs pour les écoles du Québec Program.
Your material support will allow us to better pursue our mandates: offer a service of welcome, accompaniment, listening, information and reference to people living with deafness, their loved ones and the population of the regions of Quebec and of Chaudière-Appalaches, raise public and community organizations’ awareness of the needs of people with hearing loss and, more importantly, ensure the collective defense of their rights.”

“On behalf of the Association québécoise des retraité(e)s des secteurs public et parapublic, I would like to thank you for the computer hardware, and more particularly for the laptops that we acquired at a lower cost thanks to the Computers for Schools Program.
Like any nonprofit organization, proper conduct of our business entails many expenses. This program is therefore very useful for us and we are pleased to have your support for maintaining quality services for our members.
Once again, thank you and I wish you every success.”

“Your donation has touched us a lot and we thank you very much for this gesture. Your donation will allow us to improve the quality of life of women attending the Centre d’Action SIDA de Montréal. With this gesture, you give the opportunity to these women infected and affected by HIV/AIDS to take advantage of computer equipment that will allow them to participate in information workshops on the use of various software and the Internet.”

“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Community Information Center of Saint-Hyacinthe and all its members, I sincerely thank you for all you did for our organization through the ‘computers for schools’ program. It’s partly due to your decision-making and responsibility for the ‘computers for schools’ program that our organization can benefit from a low-cost computer.
The action of an autonomous community organization such as ours is based, as you understand it, on the active involvement of dozens of volunteers who believe in its mission and the decision makers who are responsible for programs such as OPEQ. The many people than the C.LC. will be able to help again this year will be grateful.
Hoping to count on your availability that is so precious to us again next year, I ask you to accept the expression of my best feelings.”

“The Parc-Extension Action Committee hereby emphasizes its support for OPEQ’s programs. Most recently, CAPE benefited from their program which enabled them to acquire reconditioned computer equipment at a good price. The Parc-Extension Action Committee is a non-lulcrative organization that defends the rights of tenants. Our mission is to work to improve the housing conditions of tenants in the Parc-Extension neighborhood. We have a service of information and support of the tenants to support them in their individual steps of defense of right. In addition, we are working to promote social housing so that tenants can access housing that respects their ability to pay. We want to work with the tenants of the neighborhood with mobilization activities and in a popular education approach.
Having quality material is essential in the realization of our mission. On a daily basis, we help tenants to write different opinions, plan workshops or actions and others. It is no surprise that an organization like ours has little funding, which does not allow us to allocate a lot of resources to the acquisition of computer equipment. We are very pleased that OPEQ is offering this service which allows to recuckle old computers at the same time, but to support people in reintegration into employment. We consider that a service is essential and serves the community very well.
Hoping that OPEQ can continue its work for many years.”

As part of the OPEQ program, we would like to thank you for your involvement in this project. The presence of this program is essential in order to access digital tools and promote learning.
We would like to point out that GUEPE, a non-profit organization, offers educational and professional services to young people and the community in the natural and environmental sciences as well as in the open air. By promoting a privileged contact of its clientele with nature, GUEPE increases the knowledge and the attitudes favorable to the respect of the biodiversity.
The new computer hardware consisting of 5 computers will allow GUEPE to use digital technology during the design of the activities to create attractive materials to educate young people about nature and the environment.”

“We had the opportunity to get acquainted with the services of OPEQ thanks to an ad previously received, this allowed us to make the following purchases: a cell phone and a projector. Equipment that we needed but which ordinarily remains at a rather expensive cost.
We were very pleased to hear that non-profit community organizations could take advantage of these discounts. Know that these tools will be used wisely.
La Croisée, group of parents and friends, helps the the person’s entourage presenting the clinical manifestations related to a major mental health disorder and offer them a range of support services, in order to enable them to actualize their potential.
Once again thank you!”

“A few words to inform you that our organization has benefited from the ‘Computers for schools’ program and we are very pleased.
Indeed, this program not only allows us to access quality IT tools while respecting the limits of our budget but also to continue our work with an ever-growing customer base with difficulties.
Founded in 1990, Hébergement Maison de La Paix Inc. works throughout the Monteregie region by providing community-based housing and psychosocial support services to young adolescents, women with or without children, and young men who want to continue their studies. For them, the help they are given is more than precious, it is needed throughout the year.
Congratulations for this great initiative and long life to this program!”
