WARRANTY POLICY
Upon receipt of your order
Upon receiving your order, immediately check the condition and contents of your package. Any claim for missing or damaged items during shipping must be submitted within 15 days of the date of receipt. After this period, the shipment is considered compliant and no claims will be accepted.
Warranty period
The warranty period applicable to each piece of equipment is specified in its product sheet, on our website, and on your invoice. It is calculated from the date of delivery.
During the warranty period, OPEQ will choose to repair or replace the defective product. The warranty is honoured at the workshop only. No refunds will be issued.
What is covered
The warranty covers hardware defects and failures occurring under normal conditions of use, provided the device shows no visible physical damage or liquid damage.
What is not covered
Physical damage, impact marks, or damage caused by a fall. Liquid damage. Devices opened or modified by an unauthorized third party. Damage caused by a power surge or electrical irregularity. Cosmetic damage resulting from normal wear and tear. Software issues, malware, or unwanted files.
RETURN PROCEDURE
Before returning any equipment, you must:
Step 1. Contact OPEQ by phone or email to report the issue and obtain shipping instructions.
Step 2. Back up all your data. OPEQ cannot be held responsible for any data loss resulting from a repair or exchange.
Step 3. Package the equipment adequately. Any damage occurring during the return that is attributable to inadequate packaging may result in the warranty being voided. You will be notified before any decision is made.
Shipping costs
You are responsible for the cost of shipping the equipment to the workshop. The workshop covers the cost of returning the repaired or replaced equipment to you. If the equipment is deemed functional after inspection, it will be returned to you at your expense. You will be notified of the amount before being invoiced.
