CLIC-OPEQ Program

Technology within reach for every family.

The CLIC-OPEQ program gives low-income individuals and families access to a laptop at a solidarity price. Because digital access is now essential for success at school, at work, and in everyday life.

COMMENT ÇA FONCTIONNE ?

HOW IT WORKS Individuals cannot apply directly. All requests must come from a community organization or school in Quebec, which verifies the eligibility of beneficiaries.

Step 1. Find an organization or school that can submit a request on your behalf (see the list of resources below).

Step 2. The organization or school verifies your eligibility based on income criteria.

Step 3. The organization submits the request to OPEQ and collects your payment.

Step 4. You receive your equipment delivered to your organization or directly to your home.

  • Who should I contact to submit a request? Contact an authorized school or community organization. You can invite a representative from your organization to contact us to learn about the process.
  • Is there a cost? Yes. The minimum price is $75.00. This amount covers licences, shipping, handling, and new or refurbished parts.
  • Who do I pay for my computer? Organizations are responsible for collecting payments from their beneficiaries. Please check with your organization for details.
  • How does delivery work? OPEQ delivers directly to your school or organization. Home delivery to the beneficiary can also be selected on the form. Each computer is individually packaged and labelled with the beneficiary’s name.
